About
I focus on helping businesses, entrepreneurs, and athletes navigate deals, structure opportunities, and move forward with clarity.
My work centers on contracts, business arrangements, and capital-related matters — including situations where legal, financial, and strategic considerations overlap. Whether it's reviewing an agreement, structuring a deal, or advising on an NIL opportunity, I approach each matter with a practical, business-oriented perspective.
I don't believe legal work should be complicated or difficult to understand. My role is to help you see what's actually in front of you — the risks, the opportunities, and the path forward — so you can make informed decisions.
Before building my practice, I developed experience in business law and securities-related work, which continues to shape how I approach deals today: with both practical judgment and awareness of the regulatory side.
Background
Carl G. Hawkins was born in Athens, Greece to an American military veteran and a Greek mother. He spent his early years living in Greece and England before settling in Melbourne, Florida.
That upbringing — across different countries, cultures, and systems — shaped an early ability to adapt, understand different perspectives, and navigate complexity. Those same skills carry into his legal work today, particularly when dealing with business structures, agreements, and evolving areas like NIL.
He attended the University of South Florida for his undergraduate studies and earned his Juris Doctor from Florida Coastal School of Law in Jacksonville, Florida. While in law school, he received the CALI Book Award in Intellectual Property and completed the Business Law Certificate program.
